Teaser Tuesday Time

Welcome to Teaser Tuesday, the weekly Meme that wants you to add books to your TBR! You can also just share what you are currently reading. We make it very easy to play along, it is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

1: Grab your current read
2: Open to a random page
3: Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers! Everyone loves Teaser Tuesday.

Ambrosia’s little note:

Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone! I hope everyone’s September is going well so far, I hope you are staying safe. I worry about those in the path of the fires we currently are seeing on the west coast. Between worrying and everything else I have been working on embracing that it is supposed to be fall, even if it is still in the 90’s during the day here, lol. Made a HUGE batch of my beloved apple butter over the weekend and it turned out SO good if I do say so myself. So onto the Teaser…

“I’ve since come to believe that the world is populated by multitudes of women sitting at windows, inseparable from their surroundings. I myself spent many hours at a window on the Zattere, waiting for my father’s return, waiting for my life to appear like one of those great ships that came into the harbor, broad sails filled with the wind of providence…I’d grown transparent as the glass through which I peered, dangerously invisible even to myself. It was then I knew I must set my life in motion or I would disappear.”

  1. We have been following news of the West Coast fires over here, especially as I have relatives who live in California. I feel so heartbroken for those affected, especially as Covid is still in full swing everywhere. It is all just too much to take in!

Some of the ratings and reviews for your chosen book this week, have been less than complimentary, so I shall be interested to hear what you think about it, as it does sound intriguing!

My teaser extract this time, comes from a fast paced romantic thriller, which has some great added twists…
