Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone! Thanks for the lovely comments about the big Afghan projects last week. Once I am able to snap some shots of the blankets. I will. I got them both mostly finished but need to finish weaving in ends and little details like that. Also need to decide how I am going to take pictures of such massive blankets, lol. Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone! What a difference a week makes, I would say events are pretty intense right now. I hope that all of you are safe from  harm. I may live in AZ now but I am a born and raised MN girl and grew up directly in one of the highest hit riot areas in St.Paul. My Mom still lives only about 10 mins away from that area and I have many friends nearby. All are okay, thankfully. AZ has been hit with riots as well mostly in Phoenix, the Gov. put us under a week long 8pm curfew order, so that has been interesting.

Most of all I feel the need to say, I truly hope this time we start to see some much needed REAL change in this country. It never should have gotten this far. Where police officers sworn to protect and serve, felt comfortable enough to murder a man in broad daylight in front of bystanders while being filmed, and knowing they were being filmed. I stand with George Floyd and all the other POC who have come before him. I strive everyday to use my white privilege for good, and will continue to do so, because Black Lives Matter.

Stepping away from the very serious issues now to bring you this weeks Teaser.

Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone! I hope you had a good holiday weekend. Memorial day is always fairly quiet for me, pay respects to our soldiers etc. I did get my crojo (crochet mojo) back after a couple of days off from it, so that’s good. Played around with the sewing machine a lot and whipped up a bunch of things. I admit I didn’t read much (bad of me I know), but I am resolved to finish The Widow of Windsor this week. Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone! Hope you are all doing well. I have to say my goodness about all the typos last week. Had on some longer fake nails on and wasn’t watching as close as I should have. I finished the first of two monster crochet gifts over the weekend, and boy did I feel accomplished about it. Now I am slacking about going back to work on the second one. It’s about 1/4 of the way done. Looking at the second one though, I just kind of don’t want to crochet. I haven’t had the feeling in a long time, but I know it will pass. In the meantime maybe I can catch up on my reading…so here comes the teaser! Read more

Downside was I had to pull out about half a blanket worth of crochet because I made a major mistake in it and the blanket is a gift for my Mom. Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone! I hope everyone is safe and sound and not going to stir crazy. I started to get a little stir crazy myself even with as busy as I have been. So I decided it was time to go back on a regular walking schedule with the dogs, but adjusted for COVID. Going closer to dusk rather than mornings because more people seem to be out in the AM, mask firmly on etc. The dogs are happy, though they were just as happy before since we play copious amounts right now, my calves hate me but mentally I feel better. Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone! I hope everyone is safe and sound this week. Thank you all for sharing your teasers last week. I end up adding so many books to my TBR,lol. I am doing alright this week myself. Haven’t gotten much reading done again though. Been making masks on repeat. My roomie is an essential grocery employee and I have been making him and his co-workers masks. It is downright scary that front line healthcare workers and other essential folks can’t get masks. Elastic has now become unobtantium as well. Whatcha gonna do? I keep doing my best to help where I can and I swear some time in my swing chair and this book are calling my name this week.
