Welcome to Teaser Tuesday, the weekly Meme that wants you to add books to your TBR! You can also just share what you are currently reading. We make it very easy to play along, it is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
1: Grab your current read
2: Open to a random page
3: Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers! Everyone loves Teaser Tuesday.
Ambrosia’s little note:
Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone! I hope everyone had a good Labor day and a good start to the week. Myself, I had to see the dentist which is a good and bad start to the week, LOL. I will embrace the good of it though and go on from there. I did get a lot of reading done last week at least, and I am hoping to this week as well. On to the Teaser!
“Children should have some warning, some way of knowing it was dangerous to look out at the world with unguarded pleasure. But who would want to tell them, to deprive them of those few moments of blissful ignorance that would have to last a lifetime?”
― The Daring Ladies of Lowell
Love the sound of this book! Here’s my teaser: “THREE PERFECT LIARS”
Those teaser lines gave nothing away until read in conjunction with the premise and that turned this book from a ‘maybe’ to a ‘definite’ for me. Another great new to me author on my list as well!
In fact those teaser lines might well be apt in today’s Covid ‘new normal’ for us all. Young children in particular, are growing up with the restrictions the virus brings, changing their young lives for the foreseeable future!
My teaser lines this time, come from an excellent murder/mystery, with plenty of twists and turns in the storyline.

I had a pretty good weekend, considering I did have to work on Monday. But like you said, good and bad, because I read, as well! And yeah, that’s the thing about a child’s innocence. Here’s my teaser from Teen Killers Club by Lily Sparks: https://writingcrazyme.blogspot.com/2020/09/teaser-tuesday-491-september-8th.html
