Teaser Tuesday Time

Welcome to Teaser Tuesday, the weekly Meme that wants you to add books to your TBR! You can also just share what you are currently reading. We make it very easy to play along, it is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

1: Grab your current read
2: Open to a random page
3: Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers! Everyone loves Teaser Tuesday.

Ambrosia’s little note:

Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone! I hope your week has started off well. I have been pretty happy over the last week as it seems we’ve finally gotten a good hold on dealing with Callisto (one of my rescue kitties) reoccurring calcivirus and the stomatitis (bad mouth ulcers) is brings along. Lots of cats with stomatitis end up having most or all of their teeth removed, and while this might be something that happens in the future Callisto’s teeth are still in good condition. She is also an extremely fussy eater and will not touch any form of wet food, or human or baby. Thanks to my usual L-Lysine add in to the pet water and a new dental additive I found and approved with the vet, she has been making huge progress. I am one happy mama about that. Now onto the Teaser…

“The monk. Your Majesty, Grigori Rasputin,” Darya replies without further elaboration.

“Father Grigori! The Empress exclaims, gesturing for Darya to massage her back. “How in the Lord’s name did he outbid us?”

“He is a wealthy man, Your Majesty. People travel from all parts of the country to seek his healing powers. They reward him with great sums of money.”

“I have my doubts, dear. He must have received the money from one of our enemies. Yes, I am quite certain. Even if he happens to have the means, a wandering monk would not have the aesthetic inclination to purchase a portrait such as this” At any rate, make sure the artist, this Jew, Bensheimer, is invited to our salon” ~ The Last Romanov by Dora Levy Mossanen
