Teaser Tuesday 5/22/18

Welcome to Teaser Tuesday, the weekly Meme that wants you to add books to your TBR, or just share what you are currently reading. It is very easy to play along:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers! Everyone loves Teaser Tuesday.

Tardy again today sorry folks been busy with this whole Holiday thing … not used to it lose track of time real easy 😂 getting some great reading done too though!

No Vestal could be killed within Romes walls. A small chamber had been built near the Colline Gate, in the campus sceleratus. A place more often known as the Evil Fields. The Emperor has ordered a dais and stands erected, as if for a festival, but the crowd there was curiously hushed as they watched the Vestal Virgin pause before her burial chamber gathering her snowy robes.” – Mistress of Rome of 330 by Kate Quinn

  1. Oh! those teaser lines are very suspenseful and almost foreboding. Maybe not a book for me, but I know someone to recommend it to, so I am off to do that right now!

My teaser lines this week come from ‘Memphis Hoodoo Murders’ by Kathryn Rogers. A really difficult book to categorise and definitely tough to review, but nonetheless most enjoyable …

    Thanks for hosting 🙂
