Musing Mondays is a weekly meme that asks you to choose one of the following prompts to answer:
I’m currently reading…
Up next I think I’ll read…
I bought the following book(s) in the past week…
I’m super excited to tell you about (book/author/bookish-news)…
I’m really upset by (book/author/bookish-news)…
I can’t wait to get a copy of…
I wish I could read ___, but…
I blogged about ____ this past week…
THIS WEEKS RANDOM QUESTION: Are you able to read when your in pain or do you find it hard to focus?
I suffer from Fibro and end up with high pain levels from it and some other things if I am not careful (like sensitive teeth thanks genetics) so I have a lot of time to think about this one. For me it depends on how bad the pain is. If if I am on the upper end of my pain register I want to read and distract myself from the pain but it is just not happening. It tends to be a curl up and just stare blankly at things type of situation. If things are only moderate I can usually focus on reading for a little bit. How about you?

I don’t have a post specifically for ‘Musing Monday’, however one of my favourite posts this week has been my stop on the blog tour for ‘Mind Virus’ by Charles Kowalski

I like it to be absolutely silent when I am reading, but I generally can’t concentrate on a story line if I am in too much pain and find myself reading the same line over and over.
Thankfully this doesn’t happen to me too often, it is usually simply the case that I don’t have enough time to read at all!!
Thanks for hosting 🙂
