Welcome to Teaser Tuesday, the weekly Meme that wants you to add books to your TBR! You can also just share what you are currently reading. We make it very easy to play along, it is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
1: Grab your current read
2: Open to a random page
3: Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers! Everyone loves Teaser Tuesday.
Ambrosia’s little note:
Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone! I hope everyone has been having a good week so far. We are finally getting some much needed rain here. It won’t be around long so I am going to enjoy it while I can. I do love the rain. I had a bad fibro week so I didn’t get to far on peace talks, which makes me sad. Good news is I get to share another teaser for it … whoohoo…
“But there’s a deeper meaning to home. Something simpler, more primal. It’s where you eat the best food because other predators can’t take it from you very easily there. It is where you and your mate are the most intimate. It’s where you raise your children, safe against a world that can do horrible things to them. It is where you sleep, safe. It’s where you relax. It’s where you dream. Home is where you embrace the present and plan the future. It’s where the books are. And more than anything else, it’s where you build that world that you want.” ― Peace Talks
What a wonderful quote! I still can’t wait to read this… Every time I see your teasers I am reminded to get a move on and read the three books I’m behind with!

I love this excerpt! Thanks for sharing, and here’s mine: “THE NIGHT SWIM”
We too, needed some rain, but we had so much pour down in the last three days, that we are like ducks right now!
Especially when we got to the stage that it sounded so awfully loud, but on closer inspection discovered that our guttering is leaking and the drain is blocked. Not a massively expensive job, but it’s certainly going to take some time to fix!
‘Peace Talks’ is definitely not a book for me to read, but I really liked the extract you shared. I need to read that over a few times, to try and help me get out of the ‘I need to move house’ slump I am in. There is nothing wrong with the place we have, it is in a nice area of town and, more importantly, there is plenty of space for all the books I’ll ever need 🙂
My teaser lines this time come from a lovely romcom I powered my way through. It has been a welcome happy distraction! ‘Happily Whatever After’ by Stewart Lewis.
