Welcome to Teaser Tuesday, the weekly Meme that wants you to add books to your TBR, or just share what you are currently reading. It is very easy to play along:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers! Everyone loves Teaser Tuesday.
Anyone else feeling a little overwhelmed with the end of year stuff? I know I am. I am also feelig a bit daunted as just a few days into the new year I am going to be doing a big convention as a vendor eeek.
“Folk tell their children that success lies in working hard and being thrifty, but that is as much nonsense as supposing that a badger, a fox and a wolf could build a church. The way to wealth is to become a Christian bishop or a monastery’s abbot and thus be imbued with heaven’s permission to lie, cheat and steal your way to luxury.” ― Bernard Cornwell, The Burning Land
Interesting! Here’s mine: “THE COMFORTS OF HOME”
This looks right the type of book I can enjoy! this is mine for the week, a biography of Thomas Cromwell: https://earthianhivemind.net/2018/12/11/teaser-tuesday-11-december/

Oh, yes, I don’t want to go into 2019 with stuff from 2018 hanging over my head! And the teaser is right, and wrong, because I’m pretty sure that it can, or did, happen both ways! Here’s my teaser from Alien Proliferation by Gini Koch:
