Ambrosia’s little note:

Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone. Apologies for missing last week. I was overwhelmed with some neighbor going on’s and was exhausted and forgot to post. I will do my best to make a cliff’s notes version, even though the reader and writer in me wants to be long and flowery.

We share one fence line with the neighbor. It his a 7ish foot tall solid metal fence. There are some weaker points where they put the sheets a metal together and the bottom wasn’t sunk far into the ground/sand. We have had no issues and it’s all been fine, until last week. I don’t know if it was that she added a new dog to make 3 or what, but the biggest one (a rottie looks like to me.) decided to take things personally with Dean and Sammie on the other side of the fence. Bouncing off the fence, snarling, digging all in all being a menace.

I let the neighbor know this was happening and she was not concerned. We did some basic shoring up of the spaces that had become “battle” zones and called it good enough. The next day they were back at it, after about an hour I was over the noise and dragged the dogs back inside. 5 mins later my bell rings. Neighbor came over to let me know my Dog (it was Dean, I know it was.) had his head through the fence. I thanked her said he was in the house BUT I’ll go check it out. Off she went.

The spot Dean had stuck his head through was behind a bush we have and was clearly being dug out and pulled from the other side. I don’t fully blame her dog on this one, Dean played a part. I could just hear him saying “You wanna say that to my FACE?” to the other dog. haha. For the rest of that day and night I blocked off the bush as best I could.

Then we got cinderblocks. Literally filled my car with them and might need a few more.I kid you not as we were working to place the blocks their dog was going postal and digging. The number of times I had to firmly but gently push with my foot in order to get rid of the head. We will need a few more for around that bush but the bottom of the fence is secure, so far so well it has been holding. It is holding on outside anyways, thier dog still goes insane and slams against the fence etc. For the most part Dean and Sammie are doing better

Neighbor as far as I know has not done anything but keeping adding dirt/sand at the fence.Guess we will find out.

Onto the teaser!
“Malcolm: A karate master does not kill people with his bare hands. He does not lose his temper and kill his wife. The person who kills is the person who has no discipline, no restraint, and who has purchased his power in the form of a Saturday night special. And that is why you think that to build a place like this is simple.
Hammond: It was simple.
Malcolm: Then why did it go wrong?”
