Ambrosia’s little note:

Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone. Apologies for missing last week. I was overwhelmed with some neighbor going on’s and was exhausted and forgot to post. I will do my best to make a cliff’s notes version, even though the reader and writer in me wants to be long and flowery.

We share one fence line with the neighbor. It his a 7ish foot tall solid metal fence. There are some weaker points where they put the sheets a metal together and the bottom wasn’t sunk far into the ground/sand. We have had no issues and it’s all been fine, until last week. I don’t know if it was that she added a new dog to make 3 or what, but the biggest one (a rottie looks like to me.) decided to take things personally with Dean and Sammie on the other side of the fence. Bouncing off the fence, snarling, digging all in all being a menace.

I let the neighbor know this was happening and she was not concerned. We did some basic shoring up of the spaces that had become “battle” zones and called it good enough. The next day they were back at it, after about an hour I was over the noise and dragged the dogs back inside. 5 mins later my bell rings. Neighbor came over to let me know my Dog (it was Dean, I know it was.) had his head through the fence. I thanked her said he was in the house BUT I’ll go check it out. Off she went.

The spot Dean had stuck his head through was behind a bush we have and was clearly being dug out and pulled from the other side. I don’t fully blame her dog on this one, Dean played a part. I could just hear him saying “You wanna say that to my FACE?” to the other dog. haha. For the rest of that day and night I blocked off the bush as best I could.

Then we got cinderblocks. Literally filled my car with them and might need a few more.I kid you not as we were working to place the blocks their dog was going postal and digging. The number of times I had to firmly but gently push with my foot in order to get rid of the head. We will need a few more for around that bush but the bottom of the fence is secure, so far so well it has been holding. It is holding on outside anyways, thier dog still goes insane and slams against the fence etc. For the most part Dean and Sammie are doing better

Neighbor as far as I know has not done anything but keeping adding dirt/sand at the fence.Guess we will find out.

Onto the teaser!

Ambrosia’s little note:

Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone. We have been continuing our cooler weather adventures and ran into a small boo boo last week that had me feeling like I was in Jurassic Park, LOL. We went hiking down in one of the washes near us (dry river cause desert lol) and had fun. We played fetch in the wash and I put their light up collars on before we started the trek out since it was dark at that point. Alas Dean’s collar died and a few minutes later so did Sammie’s (note to self make sure to charge them lol) so there I was in the dark fishing for my flashlight listening to the rustling in the long weeds and other foliage hoping it was my dogs not a raptor. I recalled them and leashed them up once I got the flashlight out…it was in fact my dogs not a raptor. Whew!

Ambrosia’s little note:

Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone. Missed last week (sorry), cooler weather has me heading out with the pups and having adventures. We have been doing hikes and all sorts of fun stuff. They have been loving it, so have I though my fibro has been a bit mad at me over it. I don’t care though watching my pups have fun moving through the trail makes it all worth it. They are being great adventure dogs and reminding me what all the training we have done has been for because their recall has been spot on.

Ambrosia’s little note:

Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone. Sorry I missed last week. Things were a bit hectic, we had a foster and adopted out said sweet foster. Sammie and Dean were wonderful and brought him out of his shell so fast. I was walking all three of them and had an adopt me wrap on his leash and someone fell in love with him right off. Looks like we will be doing this again since they were so good with it. Very proud of my babies.

“Woman?” She chuckled. “Is that meant to insult me? I would return the slap, if I took you for a man.” Dany met his stare. “I am Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen, the Unburnt, Mother of Dragons, khaleesi to Drogo’s riders, and queen of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros.”

Ambrosia’s little note:

Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone. Well the dogs are super happy today, I didn’t work or go to a concert yesterday haha. It was because we had a lot of rain and there was flooding all over town. Not to bad by us but I figured it was best to stay off the road and not risk it. The bad (also maybe the good haha) I might be heading to the shelter this week and bringing home a foster. A friend reached out about him and said he is just the type I usually like to bring out of their shell, so if he is still there for my next day off I will probably head down and see about meeting him and Dean and Sammie can have their first foster sibling. Onto the teaser…

Ambrosia’s little note:

Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone. This is going to be short and sweet I am exhausted LOL. Maroon 5 concert was well worth it though. Its just a lot in one day to drive swap cars, drive two hours. Dance dance dance drive two hours go and swap car. Also the dogs are mad. Neither ate dinner in protest

Onto the Teaser.“I am become a sour woman, Catelyn thought. I take no joy in mead nor meat, and song and laughter have become suspicious strangers to me. I am a creature of grief and dust and bitter longings. There is an empty place within me where my heart was once.”

Ambrosia’s little note:

Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone. I have two dogs that do not understand why no one is going to trick class, LOL. Its okay there just isn’t another one until November at the moment. They did go to daycare last week though and as usual had an absolute blast! They love their daycare friends and daycare lady. Even if Dean always acts like he’s been abandoned when I come to pick them up lol.

Onto the Teaser.

How can you still count yourself a knight, when you have forsaken every vow you ever swore?”

Jaime reached for the flagon to refill his cup. “So many vows…they make you swear and swear. Defend the king. Obey the king. Keep his secrets. Do his bidding. Your life for his. But obey your father. Love your sister. Protect the innocent. Defend the weak. Respect the gods. Obey the laws. It’s too much. No matter what you do, you’re forsaking one vow or the other.

Ambrosia’s little note:

Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone. Well we officially have some beef at the dog park, not anything I started. There is however a clan that started coming recently and its started causing some issues. One of the kids who “loves dogs” (and I am sure he does) likes to run around the large dog space, scream and call dogs over and then when they do come over he starts screaming. This understandably upsets a lot of dogs, including mine. The mom has been politely asked to keep control of her kid and she doesn’t. Kid has in fact run up to multiple dogs and gotten right in their faces without asking their owners. Sometimes in the dog off leash area and sometimes just outside of it when dogs are still leashed and on the side walk. She seems to feel entitled to her kid running around the dog park and going up to any of the dogs. Despite being reminded its the dog park, its not a petting zoo, some dogs don’t like children and shouldn’t be required to at the dog park and the rules of the park state very clearly children must be CLOSELY supervised by an adult. Oi.

Onto the Teaser.

Ambrosia’s little note:

Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone. We are finally getting some cooler weather here in AZ. Huzzah for that. It is still 100 or so during the day, but once the sun goes down its much cooler. It makes the dog park much more fun overall for me anyways. The pups do not care if it is hot or not. Dean is firmly in his unruly adolescent stage currently though and it is driving me a little bonkers. He is pushing boundaries and his stranger danger barking is off the charts. He is a good boy, it is a phase and our trainer reminds me to hold the line this to shall pass, lol. Sammie has decided she shall remain a perfect angel bless her for that. Cause man Dean is being an assbutt right now, LOL.

Onto the Teaser.

Ambrosia’s little note:

Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone. Sorry I missed last week, the holiday as it often does threw me off. Whoops. I got it this week though! Which was a feat since I was in LA on Sunday for the Oasis concert and then traveled back home Monday. It was my first time leaving the pups for a whole night so I didn’t want to stay away from them for to long, flew out day of the show and came back day after LOL after spending the night with 90,000 other people. YIKES! HAHA. Was a great concert though! I got absolutely flattened by the pups when I got home as well. Sammie had been on a hunger strike since dinner Sunday night (first meal I wasnt home) and Dean opted not to eat breakfast Monday. They both scarfed Monday dinner though. All is well again for them.

Onto the Teaser.
