Ambrosia’s little note:

Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone. Another great week of puppy training last week. Dean didn’t hide under the chair last week at all yay! Haha he really thrives learning things. I love watching his little brain puzzle out what he’s being asked and get excited when he figures it out. Sammie is wonderful too she doesn’t love the process as much as Dean but she loves when she figures it out.

You,” Madeline said, her voice hollow and wheezing, “are like a bad case of herpes, wizard. You’re inconvenient, embarassing, no real threat, and you simply will not go away.

Ambrosia’s little note:

Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone. Last week was another great week of training class for the puppies. Dean did hide under the stool again at first but only for 5 minutes and then he remembered he would get a lot of treats and he was onboard lol. They are both doing so good with their classes. I do personally like the first trainer better but thats probably because the second trainer uses clicker and I have never liked clicker training. I think the noise does not make my autistic brain happy. Trainer is lovely just that clicker. She did notice I had it with me last week but wasn’t using it. When I explained why (she asked at the end of class in private) she understood and said as long as Sammie was doing well without it thats all that mattered. I don’t use it at home so Sammie was 100% fine without it.

“No one is an unjust villain in his own mind. Even – perhaps even especially – those who are the worst of us. Some of the cruelest tyrants in history were motivated by noble ideals, or made choices that they would call ‘hard but necessary steps’ for the good of their nation. We’re all the hero of our own story.”

Ambrosia’s little note:

Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone. Puppies did fantastic at their first training classes last week. I am very much looking forward to this week as well. Dean is the youngest in his class and he spent the first 10 minutes under a stool, it was cute he was peeping out at everyone from the stool. He did come out and engage a lot by the end of class he was greeting the other pet parents and older puppies. Sammie, well she was a social butterfly from the start. She is the second youngest in her class but also the second biggest LOL. Everyone could not believe how big she was. Only pup bigger was a 5 month old.

Ambrosia’s little note:

Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone. Sorry I missed last week, we had some AC drama and I was focused on not melting and taking care of the puppies and kitties making sure they didn’t melt too. Thankfully all fixed now and we start training tomorrow. There is training for Dean and on Thursday we have training for Sammie. I am looking forward to it.

Molly once burned my egg. My boiled egg. I don’t know how.”

Ambrosia’s little note:

Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone. Potty training is still going very well I am very proud of the little ones. They have already mastered sit as well and are working on down. We start training in puppy classes in the early part of August but I like keeping their brains busy. Can’t wait until it is safe to bring them more places.

“If your opponent has you by fifty pounds, winning a fight against him is a dubious proposition, at best. If your opponent has you by eight thousand and fifty pounds, you’ve left the realm of combat and enrolled yourself in Road-kill 101. Or possibly in a Tom and Jerry cartoon.”

Ambrosia’s little note:

Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone. Thanks for the comments on how cute Dean & Sammie are. I think they are the cutest, I am biased of course. They are getting so big already, going to have to go get them new collars next week lol. And today was a banner day only one accident otherwise we have gone outside or hit the potty pads all day woot woot! Such smart babies. We have had some pretty bad storms the last few days so when its storming I don’t take them out even though we are potty training, don’t want them to associate it with scary stuff. Plus tiny bladders can’t make it all night yet lol.

Ambrosia’s little note:

Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone.I hope your reads are good. Maverick is still 100% smitten with his puppies. The other cats are coming around as well. The two hold outs at the moment are Rose who was Diva’s best kitty friend and Gus Gus who adored Olly with all of his heart. They’ll get there. Dean & Sammie are doing great. Very smart puppies. Hitting the potty pads more than missing and today did first potty in the yard YAY! Had to wait for that first round of vaccines to be on board a week before I would take them out even in the safety of our yard.

And here are the photos.

This is little Dean, he weighed 9.5lbs at our vet visit last week.

And this is little Sammie she was 8.5lbs at the vet appointment last week.

“Think of every fairy-tale villainess you’ve ever heard of. Think of the wicked witches, the evil queens, the mad enchantresses. Think of the alluring sirens, the hungry ogresses, the savage she-beasts. Think of them and remember that somewhere, sometime, they’ve all been real.

Mab gave them lessons.”

Ambrosia’s little note:

Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone.I hope your reads are good. Thank you for the understanding about me being gone for a it. Funny how things happen sometimes. I mentioned my kitties have been looking for the dogs too. Well Maverick darted out the door one day last week. He had never ever so much as show interested in the door let alone bolt when I was grabbing a package. Felt like he ran forever while I was following and crying and begging him to come back. Several blocks later he zoomed Into a yard and plopped down.

I was still bawling and scooped him up and crushed him to me while yelling at him. Home owner came out as they saw me on  their cameras. I apologized for being in the yard and such and told him what happened. He told me to to worry and let him know if there was anything I could do. I off handed said unless you have one or two kitty friendly pitties probably not ( I then also explained why I felt Maverick bolted.) Then he said…well actually.

Long story cut shorter, he and his wife rescued a Pittie from a very very bad situation. Outside all the time, former owner kept trying to dump her in the desert you name it. They didn’t know when they took her she was pregnant..They didn’t know what to do with all the puppies they just did know they didn’t want to take them to the over full shelter. Shelter isnt safe for babies anyways.

So Maverick picked himself out a pair of puppies LOL Dean & Sammie a boy and a girl (ill do photos when they sit sort of still). Maverick hasn’t left their sides since he picked them out. The other kitties aren’t in love yet but they Dom’t hate them. I guess sometimes the universe gives you an insane shove. No idea on what dad is but the coloring on some of the others suggests a  rottie. I will be doing a DNA test down the line and don’t worry Mama is being spayed asap.

On to this weeks teaser…

“You must be Warden Ramirez.”
This is the part where I got nervous. Ramirez loved women. Ramirez never shut up about women. Well, he never shut up about anything in general, but he’d go on and on about various conquests and feats of sexual athleticism and—
“A virgin?” Lara blurted. Lara blurted. She turned her head to me, grey eyes several shades paler than they had been, and very wide. “Really, Harry, I’m not sure what to say. Is he a present?”

Ambrosia’s little note:

Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone. I am sorry I have been AWOL the last few weeks. I kinda shut down for a little bit after losing Olly and having just lost Diva in Feb as well. It was all I could manage to go to work and take care of the kitties for a bit. I am not gonna beat myself up to much about it though, grief is like that sometimes. I am doing a bit better now though. House still feels wrong without my two happy smiling pibbies in it though. I know I will adopt again, when the right two come along. It is what I do. The kitties have been looking for they’re dogs too, which makes me sad but also makes me happy they loved each other so much. So yeah doing a little better and getting back to regular things beyond work and kitties.

Ambrosia’s little note:

Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone! As always I hope I find you well this Tuesday and enjoying your reads. I am sorry about missing last week. We were back on the struggle bus with Olly, after initial improvement on his medications he started back sliding a bit. So I was entirely focused on him and his care, in the end that extra time was invaluable to me because at 5am on Saturday morning it became clear it was in fact likely cancer and he was now struggling. I’ll never let that be a long term thing, so we went to the ER vet again after calling them and telling them it was time.

We let him go surrounded by love and cuddles, lots of tears and and a small bit of laughter as well. I know that seems odd, but my sweet old man could not help but give me that last little laugh with him. When they took him to place his catheter for his medication he was as always a perfect gentleman and he was when they brought him back as well, but even in his weakened state he HAD to be with MAMA and he HAD to tell them he was not overly pleased they had taken him away from his Mama for a whole 10 minutes. He tried to army crawl off the stretcher before they even got it lowered so he could get to me. It made us all laugh a little, even the staff who cried a little too. Everyone who he ever met just instantly loved him. That was my big sweet boy. I have no doubt his sassy sister was there to greet him when he crossed. 2024 can kick rocks though.
