Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone! As always I hope I find you well this Tuesday and enjoying your reads.Oh I love Abuela and sitting for her, but boy do I miss being home with my Olly. I do go home for several hours a day and do his walk and dinner etc, but it is not the same. He is doing okay, he is sad but he is doing ok. Roomie is with him. Very much looking forward to him being able to come with me from now on. Or at least until we adopt a new sibling for him to have at home with him. I have no idea when that will be (I am not ready), but I know it will happen. I am that person.
“I parked in front of the Field Museum under a NO PARKING sign. There were a couple of actual spots I could have used, but the drive was even closer. Besides, I found it aesthetically satisfying to defy municipal code.”
Oh, I feel this, since I moved out, I sometimes get the family dog (no longer plural sadly, RIP Dobby) but I don’t see Jax everyday, so I miss him. But he’s fine without me, I’m not his person. And oh, that teaser really demonstrates who he is! Here’s mine from A Line in the Dark by Malinda Lo:

Yeah I am Olly’s person. 100% he is mama’s boy. He did okay with roomie though. I am sorry about the loss of Dobby.
