Welcome to Teaser Tuesday, the weekly Meme that wants you to add books to your TBR! You can also just share what you are currently reading. We make it very easy to play along, it is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
1: Grab your current read
2: Open to a random page
3: Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers! Everyone loves Teaser Tuesday.
Ambrosia’s little note:
Happy Teaser Tuesday everyone! I hope everyone is safe and sound this week. Thank you all for sharing your teasers last week. I end up adding so many books to my TBR,lol. I am doing alright this week myself. Haven’t gotten much reading done again though. Been making masks on repeat. My roomie is an essential grocery employee and I have been making him and his co-workers masks. It is downright scary that front line healthcare workers and other essential folks can’t get masks. Elastic has now become unobtantium as well. Whatcha gonna do? I keep doing my best to help where I can and I swear some time in my swing chair and this book are calling my name this week. Enough of my rambles, onto the Teaser…
“Giving up something that no longer serves a purpose, or protects you, or helps you, isn’t giving up at all, it’s growing up.” ~ Incubus Dreams (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter #12) by Laurell K. Hamilton
Oh nice teaser! Very wise indeed!
Here’s my Tuesday Post

I saw someone on Facebook suggest that bungie cords are made up of many layers of elastic inside and you can slit them open to use them. If you are able to find bungie cords at the store.
Good quote on growing up! Mine this week is from The Flight Attendant: https://pdworkman.com/booklink/1095809

My teaser is from a nonfiction book about sexual assault called To the Survivors: https://www.rosecityreader.com/2020/04/teaser-tuesday-to-survivors-by-robert.html It’s a serious book, but powerful.

Yeah, things are pretty crazy out there with masks. And yeah, that is more growing up then giving up! Here’s my teaser from Titan’s Day by Dan Stout: https://writingcrazyme.blogspot.com/2020/04/teaser-tuesday-470-april-14th.html
An idea for the masks: if you only have string, you can make the ties longer and tie the mask behind your head.

Not a book for me this week, but I do like those teaser lines, very profound.
My teaser lines this week, come from a very unseasonal, but very good, short Christmas mystery, involving stolen jewellery.
‘The Christmas Connection’ by Josie Goodbody
