Welcome to Teaser Tuesday, the weekly Meme that wants you to add books to your TBR, or just share what you are currently reading. It is very easy to play along:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers! Everyone loves Teaser Tuesday.
“People who claim that they’re evil are usually no worse than the rest of us… It’s people who claim that they’re good, or any way better than the rest of us, that you have to be wary of.”
― Gregory Maguire, Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West
Interesting thought. My teaser is from Flame in the Dark by Faith Hunter. It’s my second teaser from this book. http://razzberrycoloredglasses.blogspot.com/2018/01/teaser-tuesday-second-teaser-from-flame.html
I agree, mostly. I find that good people in general don’t feel the need to pronounce how good they are, while you’ll often find that those who claim to be evil actually just have a higher standard for morality that they believe unattainable. My teaser is from The Age of the Child by Kristen Tsetsi: https://inspiredchaos.weebly.com/blog/teaser-tuesday4033915
Very interesting observation. Makes you wonder if the speaker would count themselves among either category.

Timely teaser based on the current US political situation. I’ve been meaning to read this book for years. This week I’m featuring a book that has been sitting on TBR mountain way too long – Martians Abroad by Carrie Vaughn. Happy reading!
