Welcome to Teaser Tuesday, the weekly Meme that wants you to add books to your TBR, or just share what you are currently reading. It is very easy to play along:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers! Everyone loves Teaser Tuesday.
“We should strive to welcome change and challenges, because they are what help us grow. With out them we grow weak like the Eloi in comfort and security. We need to constantly be challenging ourselves in order to strengthen our character and increase our intelligence. ”
― H.G. Wells, The Time Machine
Well, this is an interesting blast from the past:). Are you enjoying it? I read this book longer ago than I care to remember, but I do recall that it blew me away.
Oh yeah this is a reread for me but I am really enjoying it. Decided it would be a fun read again since I started watching Time After Time.
I don’t think I’ve read this, but I agree with the quotes – the best way to grow is by challenging ourselves.
My teaser is from Inside the mind of a Bibliophile
Yikes! I meant “Binu and the Great Wall” by Su Tong!
I have to admit I have never really read any classic sci fi. How are you enjoying it?
I’m going for more contemporary fantasy this week with A Conjuring of Light. https://iwuvbooks.wordpress.com/2017/03/14/teaser-tuesday-14th-march-2017/
I love it. I read it before but couldn’t help but read it again since starting watching the new series Time after Time.
This one looks quite interesting. Jack the Ripper is the protagonist of mine this week:

Oh love a good Ripper book another one for the TBR. I was inspired by the new Time after Time show to pick up the Time Machine again 🙂
It’s been forever since I read The Time Machine.
My teaser this week is from a legal thriller by James Grippando: https://wp.me/p3Nz8P-1eO

It’s been a long time since I read this. It’s always on my mind as it’s mentioned very often on Big Bang Theory. LOL
My TT from Jurassic Island
Sounds good! Here’s mine: “THE FUTURES”
I haven’t read this book but I must say I agree with Mr. Well, even if change is a bit scary more often than not. My teaser is from Warped Ambition.
Great teaser! It’s been years since I read this one. I have The Hidden Memory of Objects by Danielle Mages Amato from my review stack this week. Happy reading!
The teaser on my adult blog is from A Twist of the Knife by Becky Masterman. Happy reading!

The Time Machine – really good book, although it’s been a number of years since I read it.

NICE TEASER
Science Fiction and Fantasy are just about the only genres I really don’t enjoy reading, so I have never actually read any H.G. Wells and probably never will, despite my aim to get stuck into a few of the classics this year.
As a general quote though, I think that it is spot on in both context and the way in which it is written and I hope that you are enjoying the book for yourself.
My teaser lines this week are taken from ‘House Of 8 Orchids’ by James Thayer, a historical thriller which for me personally, is also proving to be an excellent piece of literary fiction.
