Welcome to Teaser Tuesday, the weekly Meme that wants you to add books to your TBR, or just share what you are currently reading. It is very easy to play along:
• Grab your current read</http://thepurplebooker.com/wp-admin/themes.phpem>
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers! Everyone loves Teaser Tuesday.
I am very sorry about not posting Musing Monday yesterday. I have hit the super duper busy time for my little business and have been working my tail off. My crochet hooks are on fire *lol* and I am just going into launching a big new slime collection so no rest for the wicked!
“When I was young, I thought of eighteen as a mystical age, a time when I would know my future and myself. But I find this morning that I am sure of nothing.”
― Laura Andersen, The Boleyn King
So true!
My teaser this week is from the sequel to Lois Lowry’s The Giver: https://wp.me/p3Nz8P-1GS
Still find that to be true sometimes … way past eighteen. 🙂 Thanks for sharing and happy Tuesday!
My teaser is from The Silver Mask by Holly Black and Cassandra Clare.
Oh, yeah, being an adult doesn’t come with a handy manual! Great teaser! Here’s mine from Sting by Deborah Wilde:

Gosh. I used to think the same thing too when I was a kid. At 18, I was more confused than ever.

Your teaser is very true. It is not much less true if you substitute any age. This week I am spotlighting The House on Tradd Street by Karen White from my TBR mountain. Happy reading!
And that isn’t confined to eighteen… one of the advantages of getting older is that at least you get to know yourself. A great tease:). My TT this week is a sci fi space opera – http://thepurplebooker.com/teaser-tuesday-11-21-17/
Good teaser!
Mine is from a new collection of essays about life in Southern California: http://www.rosecityreader.com/2017/11/teaser-tuesday-burdens-by-water-by-alan.html
