Teaser Tuesday

Welcome to Teaser Tuesday, the weekly Meme that wants you to add books to your TBR, or just share what you are currently reading. It is very easy to play along:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers! Everyone loves Teaser Tuesday.

“In a drawer in the bureau of an upstairs room of my current home, there is a locked cedar wood box, which I inherited as a youth from my grandfather. This is, one might say, my box of secrets. When I was young, it contained the treasures of boyhood, the catapult, the lump of beeswax, the carapace of a crab. For many years since, it has been the repository of an archive, admittedly a ragged and distorted archive, a collection of notes and scribbling concerning some of the many cases of my life-long friend, the consulting detective, Sherlock Holmes, which for one reason or another, I never took the trouble to write in the proper reports.” ~ Sherlock Holmes: The Rediscovered Railway Mysteries and Other Stories by John Taylor 1 of 4: An Inscrutable Masquerade
