Teaser Tuesday 3/27/18

Welcome to Teaser Tuesday, the weekly Meme that wants you to add books to your TBR, or just share what you are currently reading. It is very easy to play along:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers! Everyone loves Teaser Tuesday.

Its funny the universe seems to be having lots of fun with me on Mondays and Tuesdays too LOL net issues…trapped in glue (i’ll have to send a picture one of these days lol)

“You call yourself a free spirit, a “wild thing,” and you’re terrified somebody’s gonna stick you in a cage. Well baby, you’re already in that cage. You built it yourself. And it’s not bounded in the west by Tulip, Texas, or in the east by Somali-land. It’s wherever you go. Because no matter where you run, you just end up running into yourself.”- Breakfast at Tiffany’s by Truman Capote

  1. I am faring no better just lately. Microsoft Windows updates are virtually bringing my laptop to a standstill, so I have to be quick at logging in before the auto updates take over!

I have only ever seen the film version of ‘Breakfast At Tiffany’s’, but I liked your chosen extract, especially the line “Because no matter where you run, you just end up running into yourself” – That’s surely the truth!

My teaser lines this week come from a lovely book, which I have just finished and thoroughly recommend if you enjoy contemporary fiction…’Paris Ever After’ by K.S.R. Burns

Have a luckier rest of the week 🙂
