Welcome to Teaser Tuesday, the weekly Meme that wants you to add books to your TBR, or just share what you are currently reading. It is very easy to play along:

• Grab your current read</http://thepurplebooker.com/wp-admin/themes.phpem>
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers! Everyone loves Teaser Tuesday.

I couldn’t settle one just one teaser this week. I have a lot going on in my mind lately and these seemed to really resound as I settled in to try and pick a teaser. So I have decided to share both of them this week.

“You are my courage, as I am your conscience,” he whispered. “You are my heart—and I your compassion. We are neither of us whole, alone. Do ye not know that, Sassenach?”

“Forgiveness is not a single act, but a matter of constant practice.” Drums of Autumn (Outlander #4) by Diana Gabaldon

I particularly love the first quote – it holds true for any successful couple, I think. One has the other’s back and they generally have different strengths… My TT this week is a funny, engrossing urban fantasy – https://sjhigbee.wordpress.com/2017/10/10/teaser-tuesday-10th-october-2017/

  13. Sheery says:

Both of your teasers are great but I love the second one about forgiveness. My teaser this week takes place on Halloween night in my book: http://sheeryhall.blogspot.com/2017/10/teaser-tuesday-fifth-petal-by-brunonia.html

  14. Charlie says:

I read the first four words and knew immediately what it was! That is one of my favorite lines from the Outlander series. I started a Word Doc years ago and typed out all my favorite lines or excerpts.
