Teaser Tuesday 5/16/17

Welcome to Teaser Tuesday, the weekly Meme that wants you to add books to your TBR, or just share what you are currently reading. It is very easy to play along:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers! Everyone loves Teaser Tuesday.

I know this will seem funny since I was reading book 3 last week but hey I am entitled to be funny sometimes decided to go back and read the rest again.

“9p.m. My flat. Feel very strange and empty. Is all very well thinking everything is going to be different when you come back but then it is all the same. Suppose I have to make it different. But what am I going to do with my life?
I know. Will eat some cheese.” ~ Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (Bridget Jones #2)

  1. Hi,

I have never read the ‘Bridget Jones’ books, nor watched the films. I know that I am probably on my own here, but this is simply not a genre which appeals to me. However, eating cheese sounds like an excellent idea. I’m up for that any time of the day or night and just about any cheese will do, with the exception of goat’s cheese!

My teaser lines this week, come from a medical thriller, which has been sat on my book shelf for many years ‘Acceptable Risk’ by Robin Cook ..

Thanks for hosting and have a good week 🙂

  2. “The monitor flickered slightly before the picture focused on the tanks that filled the walls in the Professor’s lab. Row after row of bodies floated in liquid, tubes running into panels in front of each.”
