The 2017 Challenges

Of course I would never do a set of challenges without at least one historical challenge! I love my historical fiction as always. This one is hosted at Passages of Time you can click the image to head on over yourself and sign up. I have again this year picked a basic level as I can always move up if I want to.

Victorian Reader – 5 books

  1. A Drop of Ink by Megan Chance

I lost track last year of the Historical Romance challenge I had enjoyed before. I wanted to bring it back into my challenges so this year I rustled one up. I don’t think it is the same one as before but I am very happy to join. Once again I have selected an easy to manage level.

Baroness – 1-5 books

  1. A Drop of Ink by Megan Chance

2.

I have always enjoyed reading YA but it has been a while since I took part in a YA challenge for reading. Since I am diving back in with gusto this year I decided to join a YA challenge. This seemed like a good choice for me. There are no levels so I can read as many or as few as I like for this challenge, making it an easy one.

  1. Beautiful Broken Girls by Kim Savage

I really enjoy this challenge so of course I am doing it again for 2017. While I am working at getting back into the usual swing of things that I used to have, since you can’t go down levels but can go up, I am going to start with the first level on this challenge.

Initiate: Read 1 – 5 Witchy Books

This challenge was called the Reading Bites challenge last year and has just had a little bit of a name change. That is okay though for me it will still be my Vampire style post, and maybe some of the other critters will show up. I am going to start at 5 books in this one this year, as the host allows you to pick your own number. I may go up as the year goes, you never know.

I decided to join a new Mount TBR challenge this year, as I have not yet found a sign up post for the one I have been taking part in. The same concept and it looks good so time to work on whittling down the mountain again. Starting with the starting level because you can go up but not down.

*Personal note to myself. Brain storm and flesh out the idea of a book challenge to host better soon. Perhaps something about Royalty*
